Avery Clayton | 22 | Makeup and wardrobe | pansexual
This babe here is Avery. She interned at the studio while she was at college (getting a degree in Gender Studies and English Literature, because who needs a degree that's relevant to their career anyway?) and was then hired full time as an assistant, mostly based upon her personal portfolio and her rising status as a fashion and beauty blogger. Basically, she does all the stuff that the higher ups don't want to do around the department. It's a lot of applying foundation, stitching up barely visible holes, and doing up zippers, with the more enjoyable parts of the wardrobe and makeup team jobs (like designing character looks, going shopping on the studio budget, and dressing people who aren't extras) go to the people in higher positions of power. If her blog/vlog brand takes off then that's what she'll pursue, but mostly it serves as a personal record of how she dresses herself and builds up her credibility as a person in the fashion industry. She's actually really happy with her job at the studio, and hopes to one day be the primary wardrobe director for a show, and collaborate with the showrunners to bring their visions of characterisation to life.
Friends: Ave will have a good number of these, and she'll have good working relationships with most of her coworkers. If you're an actor on People Matters (the show she is usually stationed on) she's probably put stuff on your face before, maybe helped you do some tough buttons up. She likes to chat with the actors when she can, and prides herself on being approachable. She's not a big fan of silence which makes her a bit of a chatter, but she would prefer to have lengthy conversations that get put on hold until the next time they see one another than to awkwardly small talk. Quietly, Avery is a huge nerd, and her idea of a fun night is to sit at home and play board games with good people. I'm really up for all kinds of friends for her!
Enemies: I don't anticipate Avery making enemies because she's a total pushover. She's more likely to zip her lip and take a bashing than to speak up for herself, so that's going to make any enemy quite one sided. She does her best to keep on good terms with as many people as possible for that reason. If someone decides not to like her, or if she does something to upset someone at some stage, she's going to struggle to address it and will really just suffer in silence. That said, I'm totally open to this as well.
Lovers: Avery is pansexual and identifies as such over bisexual not just to be more inclusive of diverse gender identities but also to draw attention to the fact that androgyny is really attractive to her. That said, her "type" is very loose, and really her ideal relationship would be with someone who enjoys and appreciates physical affection, but also doesn't constantly require it. Ave is really scared of being alone, and so in the past has got into relationships with people who she knows aren't really right for her but they showed an interest, and then doesn't leave even when she's unhappy because who else is there? But she's single right now, and is surprisingly okay with that. I'm also up for anything here. Past relationships are as open as future/nearly present ones!
The other thing that would be super rad for Avery to have would be a roommate. There's no way she lives by herself, psh. So that's there if anyone thinks that they would be a good fit for that.
