▲ It was just yet another day as a page at USBC, but Alexandra was particularly flustered. She had just finished giving her last morning tour, and the day was still young. Alexandra had just gone on break, a plastic travel mug of coffee in one hand and her pale blue lunch bag in the other, while balancing her phone precariously in the crook of her elbow. Her tours this morning hadn't been that talkative, they had gone just fine, but any jokes she tried to crack were meant with uncomfortable silence. It was making for a definitely lousy day. It took a lot for Alexandra to variate from her tour script, and yet when she did it was met with a poor response. It took some organizing, but as Alexandra walked down the hall at a brisk pace, she managed to keep her lunch bag hanging from her left ring finger, the same hand that was holding her coffee, enabling her to use her phone with her right hand. It was nothing new to the USBC page, vlogging was second nature to her. Alexandra opened her phone with ease, opened her camera app, and walked with a purpose, speaking loud enough for her phone to pick up the sound, but not so loud that people paid attention to her. "Hey guys! Just the average day at USBC. I'm on break now, but this morning was a little rough," she began, telling the entire story of her tours. For anyone watching, it would seem like two personalities between on and off camera. Not that it was a bad thing, but for some reason the camera seemed to give Alexandra more confidence and poise, whereas in person conversations and improvised situations she tended to be very timid and unsure. As she walked, Alexandra subconsciously thought about where she wanted to settle down. Perhaps she could find a table outside of the cafe, and that was exactly where she was headed, her eyes glued to her screen instead of in front of her. @theo ● 340 words ● notes: prepare for chaos c: MADE BY VEL OF GS

Theodore had been at the USBC for a few weeks now fresh of his latest run in a new Broadway show that was met with both critical acclaim for its fresh new way of looking at the works of Shakespeare, of course with plenty of lyrical masterpieces thrown in alongside complex choreography that is always a pivotal part of any Broadway Musical. He'd just been signed for a the next season of Code Blue, something he was excited about and super eager to get stuck in. Although an excited Theo wasn't hard to achieve, he was very much like a kid in a candy store in many situations.
Theodore checked his watch and decided he needed coffee and maybe some food since his stomach had been growling for the last twenty minutes. He didn't know the building well but headed in the direction he figured the coffee was in, he'd seem most people go that way and then return with hot cups of caffiene goodness so he was going to go with that. He left the office hed been in and headed towards what he hoped would be a caffiene fix. It seemed fairly quiet on the hallways of the building but the amount of hall traffic wasn't something Theo generally took note of.
He strolled down the corridor with a sort of confidence that came from years in the showbiz industry, strangers and friends were one and the same to Theo. He smiled and waved at the odd person coming the other way, he had a fairly quick pace. As he rounded the corner his phone alerted him of an email, which left him just as distracted as the young woman coming directly towards him.
With Theo looking down at his phone, reading through an email from his manager and the woman opposite him absorbed in her blog, the collision that occurred was inevitable. Theo walked straight into Alexandra with quiet some force due to the pace his was going at. Was pretty sure she'd been carrying something? Had she? He took a step back looking a little bewildered for a second. | tags: @alexandra Outfit: tba notes: and so it begins Table by BRY of W&&R and ADOX |

▲ Of course, it never occurred to Alexandra that she should perhaps focus more on where she was headed. She had done this dozens of times. She needed to do it, to make her videos to make some extra money, and she had just adapted to the distracted way of walking. But apparently not enough. Before she could comprehend what had happened, Alexandra slammed into someone with a frighteningly large amount of force. They were noticeably taller than her, and naturally consisted of more mass to send Alexandra backwards, eventually landing plain on her butt. Her phone clattered to the ground, lunch box skittering a little ways from her down the hall. Worst of all, her travel mug of coffee hit the ground with her, smattering the luckily now lukewarm drink all over her white blouse. Sure, she had taken off her blazer when she headed to her break, but now her shirt was splattered with brown in a much more noticeable way. "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry..." Alexandra mumbled as she slowly looked up to see who it was she had aggressively bumped into. And then she winced. "Theo?" Well that was just great. It took everything in her to not cry at her realization of the situation, at her realization of how big a person she had just made a scene in front of. She hadn't even realized yet that her phone was still recording, though the camera merely captured a nice shot of the ceiling as it lay on the floor. For some reason, she just couldn't get up for the moment. She reached and grabbed her phone at last, gasping and shutting off the recording. "That was all my fault, I'm sorry," Alexandra muttered again. She glanced down at her blouse, groaning at how awful the stain was becoming. She didn't have a change of clothes, and she had three more tours to give in the afternoon. @theo ● 321 words ● notes: xxx MADE BY VEL OF GS

Both were equally distracted and even with Alexandra's experience in distracted corridor walking, the inevitable occurred and Theo was notorious for bumping into people and he really should've made a concerted effort to remain alert. It would've taken real effort on his part due to being easily distracted anyway. The other person was smaller which unfortunately meant she ended up landing on her backside while Theo stayed upright. He watched as she fell and whatever she was carrying scattered somewhat, her phone, her bag and oh god help him, her coffee that was not good.
Now looked down at her, a face he recognised and one that knew him since she used the shortened version of his name which most strangers didn't. "Jeez Alex, I'm so sorry I wasn't watching." he now sputtered out himself as his own embarrassment grew. While she may have considered him a big deal, Theo didn't and he was definitely not a fan of knocking pretty girls onto their butts. Usually he bumped into guys that were bigger than him and they'd sort of growl and he'd scamper away like a scared squirrel. Despite his name being known by many people he still felt flustered in this situation.
Theo took a second to realise she was still on the floor and her offered his hand to her, "Let me help you up." he said to her gently waving off her apology. Theo looked at the stain that had made the woman grown and he looked down at the floor because that definitely was his fault, "Yeah, uhm sorry about that..." she was wearing a light blouse and coffee showed up pretty clearly on it. He rubbed the back of his neck a little awkwardly for a second. "Do you have like something else to wear or..." he felt so uncomfortable and slightly creepy asking that sort of question. | tags: @alexandra Outfit: tba notes: XD Table by BRY of W&&R and ADOX |

▲ Had it been a page or some crew member that she was on equal ground with, Alexandra still would have been embarrassed, unable to move for a moment. The fact that it was Theo made it even worse. What startled her, though, was that he himself was stuttering. Obviously, she thought it was cute, but she kept the thought to herself. At least she had some material for her vlog later? But those were thoughts for later. Some inner part of her screamed when Theo called her Alex. It was something that only those very close to her did, but she did not dare tell him that. It was fine if he did that, really. She didn't mind. "Really, it's fine... I should have been watching where I was going," she assured him. She breathed a slight sigh of relief that she had already turned her recording off. There was no way that was going on YouTube, of course, and she probably wouldn't be able to bring herself to watch the clip later. When Theo offered his hand to help her up, Alexandra was snapped back into reality. She hoped her hands weren't sweaty or he couldn't tell that she was probably shaking just the tiniest bit. The second that she was back on her feet, Alexandra shuffled back and forth awkwardly until she thought about picking up her lunch bag and her travel mug, which was now unfortunately pretty empty. Before she could do that, Theo reminded her of the awful stain on her shirt, and she frowned. "Honestly, it's my fault. But um, no I don't have anything to change into..." What was she supposed to do? There wasn't enough time to go home, obviously, and she scuttled around the guy who she honestly sometimes talked about in her vlogs to finally pick up the bag and travel mug. She had slipped her phone in her pocket, thinking it was high time to put that away for a while. Still refusing to make eye contact, Alexandra tried to keep from just running away from the situation: "I never bring a change of clothes. I guess I really should, though," she tried to make light of the situation, but she honestly had no clue what to do. "I can try and figure this out though, you're probably going somewhere, don't let me hold you up. Sorry again about all this," she conceded. It was at this point that she was finally brave enough to try and make eye contact, but she tried not to show any emotion in it. She had held him up long enough. He was certainly busy as that famous of an actor. @theo ● 447 words ● notes: oh bb MADE BY VEL OF GS

Theo, unlike a handful of child actors that were around when he was, didn't let the fame got to his head. His agent and mentor kept the young man grounded and helped him remain focused on the purpose of acting, to entertain. Everything else was a bolted on benefit and shouldn't be abused. He had only met Alexandra a handful of times but he'd seen her around the building a lot, she always seemed to be rushing about here and there.
He shortened everyone's names whether they liked it or not, he was lazy in that sense. It had created some friction in the past when he'd consistently called someone he was acting alongside by a shortened version of her real name. For those unlucky people he couldn't remember the names of, they'd be given an amazing probably insulting nickname which Theo tries not to say out loud but it does happen.
"Well technically neither was I so we're even." Theo said with a smile, the initial flustering and awkwardness seemed to have subsided by now and was replaced by his usual confidence.
Luckily for Alexandra Theo wouldn't have noticed her sweaty palms and if he did it probably wouldn't have bothered him. He didn't even feel the light shaking of her hand and he gently helped the woman onto her feet. It was the least he could do for knocking her over after all. Despite the initial flustered state of his now dissipating the awkwardness was starting to settle back in and the nervous energy he possessed had him moving from one foot to the next. As she started picking up her stuff, he looked at her now almost empty travel mug. As she mentioned never bringing a spare change of clothes he came up with an idea that he thought was really smart.
Now that she was actually looking at him he flashed her a huge smile before waving of her apology, "Don't worry about it." he said, "I was actually on my way to get coffee and since I knocked all of yours onto you, I reckon I owe you another then we can look at getting you a clean shirt" it was said with a light-heartedness that implied no pressure and that he genuinely owed her coffee because technically he did.

▲ It was at this point that Alexandra assumed Theo would say his good-bye, walk away, and leave her on her own to figure out her own problem. At least, that was what she expected. Instead, Theo shuffled around a bit and made a suggestion that she could have never expected from him, or really any celebrity. He was notably much more confident than her in these sort of situations, but that could go without saying. After all, his career was based on being in the spotlight, and hers was to serve those like him. But had he just invited her to coffee? It was definitely platonic, despite her inner fangirl wishing it was a different scenario, but either way it was such a rare, crazy opportunity that she merely found herself nodding to the drama star. His easy going personality made her finally feel more at ease, and she looked done more time at her coffee splotched shirt. Bouncing off of his tv star attitude and persuasion, Alexandra spoke louder than she had before, which wasn't necessarily saying much. "Do you mind if we take care of this-" She gestured to her coffee stained shirt, "first? If that's alright, Alexandra added quickly afterwards, her heart rate spiking at the thought of what was about to happen. It was odd to Alexandra that Theo treated her as an equal, even though she was just a page and he was such a star. It was very nice, undoubtedly, but it was so new to her. Especially as a fan of most things USBC before she worked there, this whole world was still new and crazy to Alexandra. She had to get used to it, she knew, but now was not the time. Without waiting for an answer, somehow Alexandra got up enough confidence to start walking down the hall, peeking back to make sure he was hopefully following. "I've got about an hour before I have my next tour, so let's go!" How she had found the confidence, she wasn't sure. Perhaps his had rubbed off on her after all. She headed towards one of the shops she knew had the greatest chance of carrying plain white blouses. @theo ● 366 words ● notes: I didn't wanna jump too far ahead if you weren't okay with that?? feel free to though MADE BY VEL OF GS

He was part of the problem so leaving her to tend to it herself seemed a little unfair. He might've been famous but he was still a gentleman.
When performing whether it Broadway or acting on a set Theo oozed confidence, because he was confident in his work. Of course this was always accompanied by a hit of nerves but that was due to wanting to do his job well and pull it off amazingly. His confidence in social situations was very similar, it was definitely there but he still had nerves and some uneasiness especially when there were nice looking woman in the vicinity.
Maybe it was plutonic, Theo didn't think anything more of it although she was a beautiful young woman. He was making up for spilling her coffee, that was his motive in that moment. He never considered that others may have thought he had a different motive, it wasn't like he asked Pages to have coffee with him all the time. He hardly asked anyone for that matter, he was a heavy coffee drinker but he was usually in a rush and on the move whenever he was drinking coffee. He gave her a small smile when she agreed.
Theo looked again at her stained shirt and then nodded, "Yeah let's do that." it was a better idea anyway. Theo may have been a star and he knew it but he kept his feet on the ground and when he started to loose sight of things a little his mentor quickly brought him back to reality. Reminding him of his humble beginnings and that he was just damned lucky that he seemed to have a knack for acting and expressing himself. Yes, although difficult in his line of work Theo stayed humble. Humble but not afraid to step on people's toes, just not the little people's.
Theo was of course would follow, assuming she knew the way she needed to go to sort out her shirt dilemma. "Lead the way, my dear." he said as continued a few steps in front of him. He eventually picked up speed and jogged up next to her. It didn't take them long to find her a clean shirt and Theo waited for her to change before walking alongside her to the café, "What are you drinking?" he asked as they approached.

▲ To be completely honest, Alexandra still wasn't even sure if this was actually happening. It all felt like a dream. Her vlog was completely forgotten, and there was no doubt that tonight before she went to bed she would simply scream about the whole thing, instead of fangirling in front of the guy she had such a high opinion of (and basically a celebrity crush - how was she lucky enough to get a job at USBC again?). Alexandra was thinking fast. She knew the stores around here by heart, and the most likely to have what she needed was just a little ways from where they were, and around two corners. They found a plain shirt with relative ease, thank goodness, and when Alexandra stepped aside for a moment into the ladies bathroom, she changed quicker than she probably ever had before, only glancing in the mirror on her way out to check her hair and makeup. She released a long sigh of relief based on the fact that she still looked presentable despite the whole fiasco that had just occurred, and met Theo to walk to the cafe. As they approached the cafe, Alexandra was prompted for her drink order, and she raised her shoulders, telling the order to the person across the counter and him at the same time: "I'm simple. Medium blonde roast with cream and sugar please." She waited for Theo to order before finding a table by the windows, a perfect view of the busy city. Not that honking cars and vicious taxi drivers was the equivalent to a perfect sunset or calm beach waves. It's just what Alexandra had gotten used to while living in the city. She glanced finally at Theo, not knowing what to say or how to act, and eventually found the courage to speak: "Thank you again. Honestly. I'm a bit clumsy so this is an average day for me," Alexandra chuckled quietly and awkwardly, unsure of what else to say to him. She had wished to do something as cool as having coffee with a star when she started her page program, but now that it was happening she was at a loss for words. @theo ● 367 words ● notes: xxx MADE BY VEL OF GS
