When the director yelled cut Anna slumped for a moment in relief before turning and taking up her dressing robe from the assistant nearby. They had been doing take after take of a scene where her Character Emily was complaining about the outfit she had to wear to Liz. That outfit wasn’t exactly exposing her but it certainly was less than she was used to wearing. Especially in front of the camera.
They had however finally wrapped up the scene and could break for a bit. She was glad as she was starving and could almost feel her blood sugar dropping. As she walked over towards the craft food table Anna gave Savannah a relieved smile. “I am so glad that scene is over.”
She could only imagine exactly how sick Savannah was over going over the same lines over and over again. She knew she was sick of saying them. She quickly grabbed a few things ready to just sit in her chair and rest for a few moments. Depending on what they shot next she would either need a costume change or just a makeup touch up. Plate in hand with a few items she made her way over to the chair and sat waiting for Savannah to join her.

@anna Savannah tended to be pretty cheery on set, even when others seemed to be mopey. However, once they got a break, the smile often turned into a drowsy one, and she sometimes would run off to a quiet place to take a nap. Really, she could fall asleep anywhere.
The particular scene that she and Anna were working on was one that required more out of Anna than Savannah, but it was clear that both were very tired with the lines. The punch lines, though originally funny in table read, became old and boring with the repetition. One of the things Savannah was still learning to do was to make each choice strong, new, and refreshing. It was still with a deep sigh that Savannah raced off to grab some food during the break. Anna immediately did the same thing, and Savannah grinned.
"You and me both. But I guess you had it worse off," Savannah filled her plate mostly with sweets, knowing Anna wouldn't judge her as much as River would. Trailing behind the costar, Savannah settled into her chair, relieved to be off her feet. She let the silence settle over them for a moment before crossing her legs and beginning to eat. In between bites, Savannah glanced at her friend: "How late are we staying today? I'm already drained."
Truth be told, Savannah would probably take a nap right after she finished eating, as long as there were no distractions. The fact that their break was not that long meant nothing to Savannah, who could fall asleep anytime, anywhere, and within what felt like seconds. Savannah was the one who brought a blanket half of the time.

Had it worse? Yeah that was the sum of things today. Normally she was like Savannah, all smiles between takes. She really was an easy going person most of the time. “How do models actually do this day after day? I couldn’t imagine actually doing this work. Not to mention the outfit.” She had to shudder slightly at that. Models tended to have to be comfortable showing off a lot of skin all the time. Something she definitely wasn’t comfortable with. Letting out a sigh Anna finally took a good bite. “If we are lucky, only around four more hours. If not… eight.” She really wasn’t sure exactly what their director had in mind and what scenes they had left for the day. But then that was the nature of their work wasn’t it? Anna really loved how Savannah could fall asleep like that. She was honestly jealous of her ability to just close her eyes like that. There were some days she wished she could do that. Her cast matescomment about crawling into bed was amusing. “You know that does sound about perfect right now. I could even nearly forgo food right now.

@anna Savannah was not a model. She had done some work before, mainly promotional for her work, and she had absolutely hated it. Originally, Savannah thought she would love it, considering she was the center of attention and essentially playing dress up, but boy was she wrong. Savannah couldn't help but chuckle, still managing to shake her head. "I could never do it, you brave soul."
A shudder fell down her spine at the thought of eight more hours on set. She was just absolutely tired and needed sleep. But when was that not the case with Savannah? In all honesty, she felt like this pretty much every day. "Let's hope we win the lottery, then." Perhaps it was the fact that it was the holiday season that there was this daze over Savannah. Or perhaps there were other reasons that she didn't disclose.
"So how's life, Anna?" They didn't get to chat as much as others would think, as their workplace was meant for speaking pre-written lines. There was only so much chatting between takes before their director would get mad. "I feel like we haven't gotten to talk lately, probably because I sleep here every chance that I get." Savannah grinned, not sure what to expect. WORDS 207 NOTES --- MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

She shrugged at that “You saying you wouldn’t do it if your script called for it? I’m just glad this is a network show and not like HBO.” She’d end up having to show a whole lot more for those shows and chances are she would not have a job.
She laughed at that. The idea of winning the lottery that is. “You honestly think you would give up acting if you won the lottery?” She knew she wouldn’t She could have retired from acting already if she had wanted. “Besides, I haven’t bought a ticket, did you?” Sure they could have runners go and get them if either of them really wanted to. But that would be a waste and almost an abuse in her mind.
How was life? “It’s good, thinking about getting a roommate simply because my house is empty and I don’t like that. And you’re right. WE really haven’t had much of a chance to talk. What about you? How’s everything?” Despite them being into season two she really hadn’t had much time to bond with Savannah.

@anna "I mean I'll cross that bridge if and when I get there," Savannah stated, running a hand through her hair. She was definitely grateful for the show that they were on, especially for the station that they got to work with. If they were on some HBO show, it would for sure be a little different.
"I don't think I actually would, no. I like this show too much," she admitted with a happy grin. She's like some extra pocket change, but in reality she couldn't see herself leaving Our Chaotic Life by choice right now. "I haven't, but I was thinking of getting a bunch for stocking stuffers- don't blow my cover!" Though Savannah joked with Anna, she had no clue what else she was getting people for the holidays - but that was another topic entirely. Savannah didn't play the lottery much, she felt lucky in life already. Plenty of people would love to be in her place: "I can't complain, honestly."
It would be good for Anna to get a roommate, Savannah nodded in agreement. She deserved to have someone to talk to. Savannah didn't have a roommate, she lived on her own, but she was starting to regret that decision. As of right now, she also wasn't involved with anyone so no one tended to sleep over often. For the most part, her visitors were River, Anna, and some other USBC cast and friends. Savannah didn't necessarily feel lonely or that she needed to get a roommate like Anna, but she did feel like she wanted more socialization. Not that she would follow up with that thought, she much preferred her frequent naps without interruption. Besides, Toulouse tended to be enough company for her most nights. "I think a roommate would be good for you - have you started looking?"
Savannah didn't really have an answer to Anna's question. In the grand scheme of things, she was great. But in Savannah terms, was she just okay? She felt like she was missing out on something in some way, but she had no idea how or why. Toulouse was a great addition to her apartment and made her pretty happy to have someone warm to cuddle with at night, but there was still something missing. "I'm good, to be honest though I feel like I'm just missing out on something... I have no clue what. Maybe it's just a mid season slump." Savannah didn't actually know what she meant or what exactly she was missing out on, and Anna probably wouldn't either. WORDS 425 NOTES --- MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

@savannah “That’s all we can do really. One script at a time. Though honestly I’m not sure I could go back to my Disney days.” Though in comparison to what she was wearing today on the set maybe she could. It was good to hear Savannah talk about not giving up if she won. That meant she wasn’t doing this for the fortune of it. “Money really isn’t everything. Neither is the fame. As long as you are doing this for a reason you can embrace and that you love. All is good.” “Really you do?” She had to shake her head however. “I haven’t started. When have I had the time? Not like I can just accept anyone you know? I don’t even know where I would begin. Suggestions?” She had honestly just made that decision and hadn’t put much more thought into it. “Missing something for your character in the show or something in life? Big difference there Savannah. But.. I can at least relate.” She would admit to herself at least that she was missing something as well but had no idea what that was. [/div]

@anna Compared to the other cast members of the show, Savannah had very little experience. Sometimes Savannah forgot that Anna was already very well known. She didn't see her as a celebrity, she saw her as her friend Anna who just happens to be on Our Chaotic Life and basically her confidante. Though they didn't see eye to eye on every little thing every moment of the day, Savannah knew she could always come back to Anna at the end of the day.
Savannah had thought here and there about having a roommate, but decided it wouldn't be a good decision for her personally. Because of this, she had no clue what to tell Anna, except for the basics. "All I really know is that Craigslist isn't a good idea. Also it might be a bit hard because people will know your name. Huh." Savannah paused, truthfully thinking about the matter at hand. "I think it's important to be thorough, though. And know what you want in a roommate, don't just look for a person you vaguely get along with." Savannah surprised herself with her advice, hoping it would help at least a little bit. Toulouse was the only roommate she needed, but Anna clearly needed the connection.
"Definitely life," she giggled, "Liz is all set. I just feel like I'm going day to day with no real change. Each day feels the same, y'know? I mean you probably don't know. But still, I feel like I just want something new and refreshing. I love the show, I actually do, but it's same old same old at this point. We're lucky that our show is so widely supported but each episode feels like a formula during rehearsal and filming to me." WORDS 290 NOTES lowkey thought we could link this to the interview thread and have anna ask about that whole interaction? don't have to though, just a thought. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

@savannah The fact that she was one of the more experienced actresses that were a regular on the show was shocking at times really. Every once in awhile they would have a guest star who were well known and would have everyone tripping over themselves. The fact that Savannah saw her as just another person was great and really she wouldn’t change it any other way. She blinked when Savannah mentioned Craigslist. “Uh right and yeah I’ll probably have to either do this myself or through my agent.” She did agree with what Savannah was saying. “Yeah I definitely want someone I get along with. It’s not like I’m doing this to help pay for rent. I just..” honestly she hated coming home to a place that’s empty all the time. “This is going to take a bit won’t it.”Ahh now that she could really relate to, missing something in life. “I can understand. Honestly I’ve been there and yeah it’s rough.” New and refreshing means she needed something to change. Well needed or wanted. It was good that she loved the show her profession so chances are it wasn’t that. “Sooo first question is.. Have you thought about maybe doing a movie during our off time? It’s rough but doable.” They generally had three months off where if you pushed yourself you could work a movie. That’s what she did.Well her next one wasn’t during their off season but that was a different story. “Or.. you can tell me what was up the other day with that interviewer.” There had definitely been something between them. While the actual interview had gone much smoother and was a bit more balanced when it came to questions between Drew and everyone. During the prep session it had been nothing but uncomfortable for Anna. It felt like she had been listening in on someone's first date. [/div]

@anna "If you don't want a murderer roommate, yeah it'll take a little while," Savannah tried to joke. A roommate would be good for Anna, but she did have to be careful. "Your agent probably would be your best bet I think. But a roommate is good! Someone to talk to, someone so your place isn't that empty," Savannah ought to think about getting a roommate as well. But Toulouse was enough for her to handle for now. Maybe later. If Savannah wasn't so swamped and in love with her own apartment, she would offer herself as a roommate. But sometimes living with friends wasn't the best idea for a friendship. Being in close proximity constantly to them didn't make for the most calm of environments in most cases. Besides, Savannah had a unique sleeping schedule and a certain way of living that probably wouldn't line up with many roommates. "I'm sure there's someone out there who's the perfect roommate for you. But I'll have high standards for them," Savannah winked.
It felt good to know that Anna at least understood what Savannah was getting at. She felt so in the dark, but Anna always knew how to cheer her up and make her see that things weren't always as bad as they seemed. She nodded as she listened to her cast mate, but found herself surprised by the question asked of her.
"A movie? I've never thought about it. But I'm not as... used to the spotlight as you," Savannah scratched the back of her neck, awkwardly staring into her snacks. "But I also just don't know what movie I would be in? I could ask my agent but I feel like that would stress me out too much. I don't know..." Savannah trailed off just as Anna asked her a new question, one she certainly hadn't expected. She was asking about Drew Lewis, who's show the two of them had been on just a bit ago. "What was up?" Savannah repeated, "I don't know what you mean." She had noticed that there was a lack of balance in their preparation, as she and Drew really hit it off. But Savannah had seen it as purely innocent. "Drew and I have been talking ever since though, it's nice to find someone outside of this cast to have as a friend, y'know? We never did get coffee yet, that would be nice. But he's just very nice. I was just saying that I needed to branch out friend wise, and here he is! Crazy huh?" Savannah was clearly clueless. WORDS 428 NOTES my lil bb MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

@savannah “Yeah no murdered, someone who is at least somewhat neat, and doesn't’ run around naked would be nice.” Though she felt there was little chance of that last one. Well at least she hoped that was the case. She really wasn’t sure what she would do in such a situation really. “Someone whose every moment isn’t involved in our work would the icing on the cake just for something different you know?” But she really really would need to go through her agent. Though in truth even that would be awkward in a way. Her agent would simply prefer she get a live in assistant. She reached over to grasp Savannah’s arm for a moment. “I wasn’t always so used to the spotlight you know. Plenty of reason to be nervous. But you could also look into a simple guest spot. Nothing big. Just a few lines you know? Or if you think you could handle more go for a supporting role. Not as hectic but gives you a solid taste.” What movie she should be in? Well that was trickier. “As for what to do, go with something that calls to you. Think of books you read, ones you really enjoy. Ones you can place yourself in. Find a script like that. Tell your agent you want to see scripts along those lines.”Now that she had mentioned Drew, she watched as Savannah started squirming, even if Anna’s friend didn’t realize it. “No?” While Savannah was right that it was nice having a friend outside of the whole acting circle. But that wasn’t the vibe she was getting. “By all means branch out. I need to as well but…” She paused here emphasizing her point. “I don’t think it’s just friendship I was seeing.”[/div]

@anna "I think you could use someone a bit different," Savannah agreed. Anna could benefit from someone with a different viewpoint than hers. Sure, another actress may be a strong candidate but someone who brought something different to the table would be able to give her new perspectives and a breather from the industry.
Despite their similarity in age, Anna was very much her senior in regards to experience. "You make it sound so easy," Savannah whined as she listened to her co star speak. Had this been last season, Savannah would have jumped when Anna gripped her arm but now she simply understood her constant sense of urgency and honesty. "But there's no movies on what I like: relaxing on the couch, petting my cat, and eating snacks." It wasn't a lie, but she could also probably do much better. If Savannah put her mind to it and demonstrated interest to her agent, it would arguably be one of the easier things she would do of late.
But what was Anna even talking about? Savannah was glad to have Drew as a friend, but Anna seemed convinced that it wasn't really in that direction. Savannah viciously shook her head. "We're not like that. I don't think. I've never even dated anyone, Anna. What did it look like to you, then? Because to me, as a person in the conversation, it looked like two people planning to get coffee. Not that I know anything about this kind of thing, but I thought it was pretty clear that Drew wasn't interested." WORDS 259 NOTES my lil bb MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS
