Her parents were in the hallway yelling at one another per usual. Like normal her father did more of the yelling (at least it was normal to her) and it was usually at her mother. Usually they cooled down by the time someone walked by so to cool any worry about any abuse going on in the home. Emma didn't mind a bunch. It just meant that the focus wasn't on her and she was happy about that. She didn't like being yelled at and sometimes if she was yelled at then brought to set she couldn't remember her lines which made her even more embarrassed. Like today. She had messed up two whole lines in front of all the crew and while that was way less than the adults messed up daily the little girl always took it hard. So once they finished her scenes (before 3 PM which she was unhappy about because if she had her way she'd stay on set forever to avoid going home). By the time @robert walked by her parents were already rounding the corner for somewhere more private leaving her all alone. When he finally entered the room she was sitting there sipping a chocolate milk through a straw out of a bottle. The little girl's dark blue eyes looked up defeated even though it was early. Like the whole weight of the world was on her shoulders and slowly crushing her and pushing all breath out of her bit by bit. "Is your part all done?" She asked Robert quietly. She referred to scenes and episodes as parts. Her part was his kid and Robert played her dad.. But truthfully she liked him WAY better than her own parents and wished that the pretend she did was actually real life and the real life pretend. If only. Her eyes met with Robert's (his always had a knack for doing that and being so kind) and with a heavy sigh she stared down at her lap sadly. "I messed up my words.." The little girl fretted.

Robert walked down the hall, humming a tune under his breath. Most people dreaded going to their job day in and out but the elderly man could honestly say he never once thought about taking a day off. The bus ride was fun and being a senior, he got that awesome discount on the monthly pass. He had memorized the schedule and proper routes to take so he would never be late. He had no problem taking public transect since he seen it as a way to meet new and interesting people, if not a little weird but interesting in their own way none the less. "Good morning!" He said as he jumped out of the way as a familiar young couple dashed down the hall. They did not pay him much attention however but the man sent him a chilling stare that said "Don't mess with me today" Robert being his immature self simply pulled down his eyelid and stuck out his tongue. Giving him a quick raspberry before continuing towards the set.
He took a left, walking down yet another corridor, before spotting the familiar double doors of the set. Finally. He peeked inside at first, just to check if anyone was in the middle of a scene. Rob had been told he could be quite the distraction so he made sure not to cause as much of a ruckus as he normally did. "Coast is clear it seems"
Rob quickly pushed open the heavy door to the set and slipped inside. Trying to surprise his most favorite person in the whole wide world. "Here's Robbie!?" He screamed as he made a silly face at his little buddy. He stood up as straight as he could and begun walking towards her as if he were Frankenstein's monster only with a cheerful smile on his face. "Why yes" He answered her in a boastful humorous tone. She seemed so sad recently and he had just the thing to cheer her up. "Well then since you messed up your lines I guess you need to be punished" He said as he slowly raised his hands and without warning begun to tickle her tummy repeatedly. "Arghhh this'll teach you!"

Robert entered her dressing room in his usual boisterous and funny way. There was a day, a few years prior, that she would have giggled about absolutely everything he did. He was a super funny guy after all! Nowadays that laughs came few and more far in between mainly because of everything that she was going through at home. It was nice to forget for a while and nice for someone to not want anything out of her like money or a performance.. and also who had never laid a cruel hand on her. Not once. And it wasn't like he was being nice to her because he had to because he was an actor. At the end of a hard day's work he could head home if he wanted. He only played her dad on the television (not that she ever watched the show much) so it wasn't like he owed her anything off screen but he was nice regardless.
"Why are you walking like that Mister Robert?" She asked seriously kind of missing the joke that he was going for because she was too preoccupied with her own worries. Like getting her lines right so that she didn't have an angry dad to go home into and wouldn't have a red mark across her face or fanny just because she did something that all kids (and even some adults) did from time to time like forget something or mess up. When he threatened to punish her (albeit playfully) her eyes widened in horror. Whenever someone threatened punishment it usually meant slaps, and hits, and burnt cigarettes against her skin not a tickling like she was currently on the receiving end. While she had been a tad difficult and stubborn before she was now beginning to open up laying back on the couch and squirming with giggles kicking her legs as her hands moved to push his away playfully. "Mister Bobby!" She protested before managing to free herself red in the face from laughing so much.
Her hair was all messy from moving around and sticking up all over the place in a way that she just didn't like. She could be extremely OCD, a fact that was only exasparated with all of the stresses of her home life, and she couldn't keep her hands from moving frantically over the top of her head fixing it. It had to be just so or she'd just about lose her mind. "Did you see my mom and dad when you came in?" Little hands clutching at the fabric of her skirt (she always preferred those cute outfits to pants) and looked down at her lap. "They left because they had to talk.." aka yell. That's all they ever seemed to do when no one else besides Emmy's eyes were watching.
